IISLogs offers two versions of the component.
-Stand-alone EXE (this would be scheduled to run via the Windows Task scheduler or other 3rd party utility)
-Windows Service (Runs inside Windows services applet).

I like the schedule because it runs at the designated time and is done. A service would be running all of the time and for my use that would be a waste of resources.
